Event Marketing

From my time as VP Events for the SFU Communication Student Union, to eventually become VP Marketing, event-based marketing is something I have become well versed in. In developing timelines, coordinating bookings, creating content calendars, and managing a team of marketing coordinators, our small but mighty club continuously pushed the envelope, strengthening the School of Communication at SFU in ways never seen before. Making each event better as we went, learning what worked best, what didn’t, and refining our processes, through detailed marketing strategies and event planning, my team and I were able  to sell out every event we created, accommodating upwards of 70 students, faculty, and Communications professionals at times.
